Our founder & creator, W. Brent Mullin, is a lifelong problem solver. Brent has spent his entire life designing solutions for otherwise impossible problems. Areas where he has created (and often patented) solutions have included the oil and gas, drilling, farming, healthcare and tunnel aeration - to name a few. So when Brent’s son-in-law had an issue that he couldn’t solve, Brent was confident there was an answer - just maybe it hadn’t been invented yet.

Jeremie is a professional soccer player who retired to start a professional year-round training company that was growing both in-person and online but could not overcome the problem of lighting. Jeremie was losing thousands of dollars on facility fees and light costs at each training location. Each year, he would order a new light, including lights from the UK, only to have them be inefficient, costly and fragile - some couldn’t make it through one Texas wind.

Every holiday season, Brent would ask Jeremie about training and hear the same complaint. So in 2015, Brent decided to solve Jeremie’s light problem by creating what would become known as the Sports Field Light. That Winter, for Jeremie’s birthday, Brent presented Jeremie with the light. Jeremie still uses it for his training today.

From the first night Jeremie used the light, athletes, parents, other business owners and total strangers began asking where they could purchase they light. Now, it’s available for all types of sports - hunting, fishing, hanging out at the beach, camping plus all the ball sports and backyard barbecues imaginable.
